  • Beautifull fish i particuarly love the yellowish butterfly koi :)

  • @Rboybot THANKS!

  • Im from New york and i heard of Koi surviving the winter, is this true

  • @Bigfoot16 yup... im from philly ( same temperatures) and they survive all winter

  • I need help please....Once I get my pond done...how long will it be ready to put my koi fishs in it?

  • not knowing where you are located ( i am in the east coast USA) as long as you temperature will stay warm for months to allow the fish to get acclimated before winter you can cycle the pond with comet goldfish for 6 weeks and then slowly start adding koi... the reason i asked for you location is becuase my pond is currenty frozen except for the holes where i have my jets... and you can never add fish to a cold pond...

  • oh my gosh THIS IS AWESOME!!! I have always wanted a koi pond, and a few years ago I built a frog pond. Now it has many plants growing in it randomly, a few lily pads, many tadpoles, frogs, and a couple tiny fish. After a year of growing, it has tons of algea...

    NOWHERE AS BEAUTIFUL AS THIS!!!

  • however remember that you need the bubbler to make the holes because if your pound on the ice very hard you could kill your fish cause of the shock due to their dormant state

  • @Bigfoot16 as long as the water is deep enough and the body of water has several holes to let out the gasses that build up within the body of water than they should be fine.

  • gorgeous pond, your water is so clear, im jealous i wish my was clean right now but my uv starilizer isnt working and it is so green, can you tell me how many gallons my pond is it is 18 feet x 12 feet and varies in depth from about 2 feet to 4.5 feet, the shallower part is a lot smaller than the deeper end

  • A job well done.
