  • I am so happy that I found this video's on Youtube. I've had the game, but lost it by my dad. Thanx you so much for uploading this masterpeaces. :)

  • It's my pleasure if I could make you happy :)

  • I just have a question. Its been a while since I read the book, and I am confused as to how John Hammond became a millionare. Do you know how it happened that he became so rich? Plus, the audio with Hammond's diskette, I don't understand why Hammond is so upset. Is it because the lady stiffed him or something? I've never gotten that. Do you know?

  • I can't remember if it was in the book, but since in the book Hammond was kind of "the ignorant, self-centered millionaire" I doubt that his early years would have been discussed. (I'm sorry, but I really can't remember, probably because it's not in there.) As for the diskette, I think that was intentionally mysterious, since it's "some" of his diary.

  • I don't think they ever made mention of it in the book.

But in the first movie, it's suggested that Hammond had made his fortune through animals attractions. He mentions that Muldoon worked for him at an animal park in Kenya, and he tells Satler about his first attraction, a flea circus.

It all related back to his desire to make JP more than just another illusion like the flea circus was.

  • @xIegionx here it is: Science 25 September 1992: Vol. 257 no. 5078 pp. 1933-1936

DOI: 10.1126/science.1411508; DNA sequences from a fossil termite in Oligo-Miocene amber and their phylogenetic implications; R DeSalle, J Gatesy, W Wheeler and D Grimaldi. Sorry, it wasn't Mesozoic, but my point stands

  • @MismeretMonk Actually I read up on your claim and I've found nothing that says we'd find DNA in an insect fossilized millions of years ago.

  • @xIegionx yes, but it proves the DNA isn't all lost during fossilization.

  • @MismeretMonk DNA from the insect, but not the blood it was carrying.

  • what program did u use hack the game and fly over the island? It doesn't have a construction set like Morrowind

  • @xIegionx they have extracted DNA from mesozoic bugs in amber. So, it is rare but possible. The Amber will dehydrate the insect, so it's unlikely the dino blood and insect hemolymph will blur. Even so, it's possible to see if genes are from an animal or insect.

  • Sadly blood a mosquito sucked from a dinosaur (that get's trapped in amber) is mineralized over time, thus no DNA to get. Even if there was, the Mosquito's own blood would corrupt it, causing a mutation in extracted dna.

  • I love this mans voice! it really brings a face to InGen, and the Jurassic park misstery!

  • Yep, it does.
