You still don't understand. The Nationals and Liberals are in a COALITION and thats a signed legal document, one of the tenets is that there will be no 3 cornered contests. So there would NEVER be one single 3 cornered contest. It just would not happen, hon. You really seem to have absolutely no idea about politics. Oh, and there was no abuse. Where did you get that from? Perhaps you felt you were being 'attacked' because you don't understand Australian politics? Thats education, not abuse.

Uhh .....you can vote for Nationals in the senate over Liberals.

Anyway I take back what I said now that Tony Abbott is in charge. Hopefully he'll deliver some sanity to the liberal party position.

If Malcolm had stayed leader I guarantee you that there would have been a lot of 3 cornered contests because the Nationals would have been the only alternative.

You aren't familiar with politics, are you? Nationsl and Liberals DON'T STAND AGAINST EACH OTHER, so the Nationals won't GET A CHANCE to pick up seats.  Nationals don't stand against Liberals. Its either Labor vs Liberal, or Labor vs National. You don't get a choice to vote National 1, Liberal 2, because being a coalition the 2 never run against each other. Are you a new voter by any chance?

No, you're still missing the point. The liberal and National parties are a COALITION. You are treating them as if its one vs the other. Why does it MATTER who gets the money? Why are you making it a contest between Liberal and National? You are completely focussing on the wrong enemy. Besides, there are no 3 cornered contests any more, so your local candidate will either be Liberal or National. If a Liberal stands, there won't be a National standing also, so you have no choice but Liberal.

You're missing the point. I still want my vote to go to the conservative side of politics but now instead of the liberals getting the cash for my vote, the nationals will get it. Hopefully they'll also pickup some seats from the liberals too.

The only new leader for the Libs is Tony Abbott.

He has listened to the Australian people and has refused to vote for the Rudd Turnbull Goldman Sachs ALP ACTU TAX.

hockey doesnt want the leadership because he knows that the libs will lose the next election and also that turnbull will most likely lose his wentworth seat, this will give hockey 3 years as opposition leader to try and win the subsequent election
