SolarWinds Head Geek Josh Stephens provides helpful tips for enabling NetFlow on Cisco routers. Discover how powerful NetFlow technology can help you determine the types of traffic on your network, where it's coming from, and where it's going.
@GetSmartDigital
on 800 series Fa0 through 3 are switchports of integrated etherswitch module. So you can't use flow on L2 interface. Instead use it on SVI (Vlan Interface) :) By default its interface vlan 1.

Hi Josh,
Is it possible to setup netflow on a Cisco 857? I get the following issue. Can you please help?

@Cheeseforsure You need to install SolarWinds Netflow Module 3.7 latest in order to monitor . Also you need to Upgrade NPM V10 in order to install NTA 3.7 . However you can request NTA 3.5 (Older Version) to SolarWinds which still supported with NPM V9 in order to Monitor Netflow traffic .
