From my grandparents' home movies. Damage from the 1938 hurricane that hit the Hamptons on Long Island, NY. Can anyone identify anything/anywhere in this? Thanks. At 2:04 you see a picture of St. Andrews Dune Church in Southampton. see http://www.smithtownhistorical.org/events/events_2007-10-29/images/st_andrews...

  • @smacwhinnie Wonderful! Thanks! Prof. Scott A. Mandia at SUNY has a web page that uses this video. I'm sure he'd love to know this and any other info you might know. ("The great hurricane of 1938 - Damage caused by the storm" page)
