Byrds - I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better

Byrds on Shivaree with this fantastic Gene Clark song. The clip is a bit shaky but forget that and just see how much fun everyone is having and what a great vibe it is! If only music was like that ...

Great tune. First time ZI heard this song was Tom Petty's cover on Full Moon Fever. I have to say it sounds about the same as the original.

I remember when this was released. If I'd had an iPod, I'da loaded this and a bunch of other Byrds tunes on it and put them on heavy rotation. As it was, I rolled with 'em on my 4-track.

R.I.P. and thanks, Gene. You wrote a good one. Oh, and thanks to the Big "A" for taking the time and trouble to post it.

you can find a bunch on cd now. The
12 string on their songs is what made
me love their sound. They got the idea
from watching Hard days Night

It's no wonder that the fab four had dropped by a Byrds recording session at one point, they had it goin' on!

AEFic - Huh, I think David Crosby has created a few hits in his time which have been pretty complex. Mid 60's bands were only hindered by the equipment at the time. Try to listen to your elders like checotahkid and myself, we know. Peace
