  • the territories that belong to Greece besides Greek land it self Pontis on the Black Sea Cyprus Ionia Bythimia or Nicea and Thrace Constantinople will rise again and they can pull down those eye sore mosque minerats

  • You have forgotten your place, LastExtraPower, it is you, who occupied Constantinople and killed the last descendant of the great Palaiologian dinasty. For that your civilization will be ashamed not only among the greeks, but among all European nations. The fact is that you are very jealous to the European nations, especially to the Greeks. Just compare Constantinople before and the City now and you will see the difference. You belong to Asia and ask your Kurd friends, they will tell you same.

  • @ALEX3XX The name catholic indeed means "for all" OR "full (faith), that lacks nothing". The name orthodox means exactly the same thing: "right faith". The name oecumenical/οἰκουμενικός wasn't created with the purpose to raise the bishop of Constantinople above all other bishops. That's something the popes did. The term oecumenical was used with the meaning: "he whose cathedra is in the capital state". Oecumene was the Roman Empire (i.e. Byzantium) with Nova Roma-Constantinople as capital city.

  • Greek speaking orthodox = Byzantine Why are some people bothered with that ,here?? Greek patriarch is called 'oikoumenikos' ,equivalent to catholic (katholikos) meaning for all both words.
