The usual rules of continuity are in action here, low-key news with John Humphrys and a lengthy menu rundown for Thursday, then a nice slice of a favourite program(!) of mine, Making the Most of the Micro. Serious and practical computing was the order of the day with the BBC Computer Literacy project, so to demonstrate we are treated to British Leyland's mega futuristic display at the 1982 motor show and the school favoutire, the BBC Buggy.

  • With the first news headline I thought this might actually be a year later, but in fact this strike was just a preamble, and it's Monday 28th February 1983.
