Michelle Obama’s $4.5 billion "Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act" mandates broke school districts to grow gardens and have salad bars, but it begs the question why can’t the existing system be revamped to give children healthier choices without costing a fortune.

Ever notice young boys with breasts, like women? Well, it comes from the hormones that the farmers are feeding their animals, for consumption. The govt has to look into this. Long time ago, people were much more healthier with cancer & other diseases not as prevalent as today. If parents don't buy fresh fruit & veggies & prepare a nutritious meal, then it is downright lazy & no care attitude. Please don't say it's too expensive to buy a basket of fruit & veggies at the market. That's an excuse!

If you compare int'l children to U.S. kids, you'll notice that American kids are way too heavy for their age, plus they look much older. Some advocate that obesity is a myth, but that's ignorant. Obesity is an unfortunate fact in America. Food has been altered drastically, with tons of chemicals and hormones esp on meat products, such as growing a full grown chicken within a couple weeks. Parents have to be more responsible in feeding their kids with fresh fruit & veggies for natural nutrition.
