One of the most moving, and well-crafted masterpieces I've ever seen. This film has highs, lows, laughs, cries, and a richness and depth that has to be experienced to be understood.

I think the saddest part of this movie is when the kid's talking about how his dad doesn't spend time with him anymore. The other parts, while sad, were natural aspects of everyone's lives - age, death, and loneliness. But Russel's pain seemed really premature when juxtaposed with Carl's.
Gawd, this movie was practically perfect.
