  • Destiny's Child? Are you serious? You can't combine these three powerhouses and mention destiny's child. Destiny's child? They are not even close to these three .The comparison is silly. And that's coming from a fan of DC.

  • @SuperJadeDragon You are just showing out. Firstly, they may not be sought after in this present day but these ladies have enormous talent that no one can touch! Especially all those female singers you listed with the exception of Coko. Secondly, Tamia is a soprano and sounds good doing it. Kelly is NOT a soprano and never will be. Deborah has a good mezzo-soprano range, when she wants to use it. The decided to form the Queen Project for a much deeper meaning than singing songs and harmonies.

  • Kelly Price's voice is so ridiculous and versatile. One minute she's singing soprano with karen clarke the next she's singing tenor with the queens. I'm very disappointed that I haven't heard this album. hopefully they quietly released it so that I can get a copy of it somewhere as long as it wasn't shelved, cos that would be a disservice to R&B. Ive been a fan of these 3 ladies since the 90's, & it blows my mind that they've done an album together.

  • @JayCroix: INDEED! KELLY PRICE has amazing tone quality and power in her upper register. But she can't sustain it throughout a full concert; and she's wise enough to avoid trying to do so. She really knows her voice [all of them do, actually]. SHEP CRAWFORD [the producer and director here] is great at arranging vocals as well. He placed each of these beautiful voices where they work best for a full concert. They [DEBORAH COX, TAMIA, and KELLY PRICE] sound awesome.

    Peace and love...

  • @johnathandoe, I just remembered something as well: Soprano voices are meant to be light in tone, not overpowering. I love Kelly's upper register, but her on soprano in full chest voice would be no match for even Deborah (who has an amazing chest voice herself).

  • @JayCroix Naw. I disagree. Kelly can sustain higher for a longer period of time than Tamia. We never hear tamia stay up there for a long time. Tamia's voice is alot lighter than Kelly's which makes it sound higher but I def think that Kelly can stay up there longer than Tamia. But due to Kelly's tone, I understand why they'd give her the lowest parts. I don't think Deb or Tamia sound as natural as Kelly while singing low.

  • @johnathandoe, I don't disagree with you; however, she cannot sustain that higher register as long as Tamia can. That said, Kelly has the best and lowest lower register out of the three of them so it made sense to put her on the bottom.

  • @JayCroix I think Kelly has the best upper register when it comes to belting in full voice. She pierces and it sounds so whole. Most sopranos don't sound as good as Kelly does in upper register, although there are some that can go higher.

  • Tamia is soo pretty:) & she has a cute laugh:) lol @ 0:57-0:59 :D

  • @SuperJadeDragon how old are you? Dreamgirls was a movie not an actual group AND a song that wasnt in the original play was created JUST for good ole Bey...Listen. AND jennifer hudson didnt steal anything her character in the movie/play was one of if not THE main character. I will give you this though Destiny Child probably was created for the sole purpose of launching Beyonces career, those other groups you named though not the case
