This film is from the short series, And on we Fight, which was specially commissioned by STV in support of the 2011 Scottish Poppy Appeal, and kindly sponsored by the Scottish Sun newspaper. This programme tells the story of Rick Anderson, who joined the Royal Marines aged 19 and served for 10 years, seeing active service in Northern Ireland and the Falklands. Following his time in the military Rick suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and nine years later an accident on an oil rig saw him lose an arm. Rick now works for Aberdeenshire-based veterans' charity Horseback UK, where he offers equine therapy to ex-Servicemen and women suffering from physical injury and psychological trauma.
