One of my favorite Commodore 64 games - creative, original, and makes excellent use of the C64 hardware. By the way, I'd love to know who Olaf Glatzer is.

  • @dogcatmouse23 It gets boring after awhile...It isnt a bad game....just repetitive. You can beat the game in about 15 minutes...then you go onto a higher level of difficulty on the same 3 game screens...and then you beat the game again...etc;

    The only thing that Space Taxi is missing is the "game over" music from Rescue Squad as a lot of the music from Space Taxi is carried over from Rescue Squad (RIP Silas Warner).

  • did you get to the secret level with the castle wolfenstine security guards as customers?

  • That's cool, 1984 digitised voice output. I find this a bit more convincing than in 1981's Castle Wolfenstein, because here you can actually understand what they're saying =)

  • I remember typing that very thing into that very screen. I miss my C64, I'd love to have one again. Talk about your classic gaming system.

  • I'd love to get into a real life taxi and say "Up please" in that voice and just see what the taxi driver says.

  • Although it doesn't quite look it here (or now), but this was a pretty cool game growing up back in the day!

  • @Lennyfred I hear that and I'm down too! Lol.
