Shameless Pro-War Commercial (intro by Sen Byron Dorgan)

This is a shameless pro-war commercial by Freedom's Watch http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Freedom%27s_Watch, a White House front group of "prominent conservatives with a pro-Israel agenda masquerading as a grassroots movement." This is just one of the commercials where they use disabled vets to voice the White House's desire to continue the war, and create more permanently disabled and multiple-amputee soldiers, like this spokesman. This commercial is particularly disturbing in that they continue the hoary tactic of tying Iraq to 9/11 in order to sustain public support for the Iraq war.

Intro & outro is of Senator Byron Dorgan speaking on the Senate floor September 5th, 2007 from C-SPAN2.

NOTE: Freedom's Watch is basically a continuation of the now defunct Project for a New American Century, but try to appear as if they're a civilian special interest group. FW was formed just two weeks prior to the airing of this ad campaign with a goal "to ensure a strong national defense and a powerful effort to confront and defeat global terrorism."

Iraq War was the right thing. Saddam broke numerous UN Security Resoulutions, funded terrorism and commited acts of genocide.

Not quite. Saddam never had a way to kill a number of people close to what have died as a result of the war in Iraq (close to 1,000,000 more deaths than before the period of war). We should be concentrating on Afghanistan, where Al Qaeda actually were, instead of being roped into this BS about Iraq, which Powell and Tennant knew was a lie even when they addressed the UN.

@Azathespaz6666 The decision itself to invade Iraq was not in conformity with the UN charter and was an unilateral decision made by the Bush administration. Allegations such as "funded terrorism" and WMD's were proven to be false, and the Bush administration knew it before the war started.
