@freohr789 Wow - I noticed this with mine (8 months) and my friend's Dachshund (3yrs) too (when they play). They do that sneeze thing when one gets tired of playing but the other just won't let up (usually my pup doesn't know when to stop playing) . When I first heard it I thought it was a sneeze, but then it happened so frequently - I thought it was a little snort.

My dog almost looks exactly like yours! Except mine has curly cues, longer hair, and a big mane of fur on his chest. The tint of red in your dog's fur though is nearly exactly like my dog's.. He's a champion breed. His mommy and daddy were champion dogs :) Although my dog, although a "champion" can't do anything except be adorable :3

@sugargirl8153 Hey! Thanks so much! :) I don't do the grooming myself; I usually use PetSmart, actually. The one in our area has always done a really good job.

I think dachshunds must sneeze when they are angry or something XD It always seemed like mine did. Whenever my dachshund sneezes now I just say "uh oh he's mad now!" It seems like yours supports my observations. =D
Although it could sometimes be a huff probably. I know sometimes it's most definitely sneezing but he might just be huffy too XD

@freohr789 I agree! It's almost like a snort-sneeze. He definitely does it when he's a little on the irritated side, so your theory is probably accurate! :) Thanks for commenting.
