Pikachu is a stupid wesley that keeps getting shoved into people's faces. Its popularity is completely artificial, as the craze over it died many years ago, so Nintendo keeps injecting money on the "Pikachu Marketing Department" in order to have it stay afloat. Honestly, any midlly appealing mon could take its place if it was marketed the same way.

actually the most popular pokemon of all time is charizard followed by pikachu not my opinion its facts also the charizard 1st gen haloghrapic pokemon card is worth the most out of all other pokemon card exceeding over 500$ for 1 card offer

@MegaYellow It was always more exciting to watch Pidgeotto or Charmander fight as apposed to Pikachu in my opinion.

I will say this though: I do always use a Pikachu for quite some time in a Generation 1 game whenever I restart one. Of course, I'd keep it in Yellow.

@MegaYallow The newer generations beyond Generation 2 will never sway my favorites. My favorites have always been (and always will be) Mewtwo, Mew, Umbreon, Misdreavus, Crobat, Charizard, Typhosion, Lugia, Articuno, and Magmar! Been my top 10 for I don't know how long, and will remain so for as long as I continue to play these games.

In the show, to be honest, I paid attention to most of Ash's other Pokemon more than Pikachu even when I was young since Pikachu usually won so easily. >

@pugsarenumba1 I strongly dislike JigglyPuff, only cuz I always thought she/he was annoying and mean. I guess Jigg was kinda cool most of the time, but I will never say it's cute; I just don't think it is.
