"Highly recommended" by the Tinnitus Association of Canada!

Kadis' (Tinnitus Association of Canada) endoresment of the film:

An engaging new film, The Devils Symphony, offers fresh insights into a condition that often baffles and mystifies. This skillfully edited documentary presents interviews with people who talk honestly and openly about living with head and ear noise.

Their distinctive personalities come warmly alive as they reveal the stages of their personal journey with tinnitus, how they found ways to cope with it, so that in time the sounds became just another part of their lives, no longer the dominating one.

If youve felt isolated in a struggle with tinnitus, or if youve been frustrated by the difficulty of conveying to family and friends the reality of what youre experiencing, the quiet drama of this touching film is the perfect answer.

The Devils Symphony was created by CoVisions Productions, an independent husband and wife team, with the aim of improving the understanding of tinnitus. Any profits will be shared with tinnitus organizations and directed to research.

  • i got Tinnitus for so many years and it has gotten worse so, i went to see my audiologist and he told me that i had developed presbycusis which is hearing loss and i am pretty much deaf already but i thought that my tinnitus was gonna go away once i became deaf but no way jose, it didn't i still live in this monster that is up 24/7 and does not leave...is a BEEEEEEEEEP none stopping and it sucks...

  • I'm really sorry to hear this, staraction... Have you found a good support group or anything that helps you feel some sort of relief at least from time to time?

  • i signed on to youtube looking for more videos/film/info on tinnitus... can anyone tell me more about this film? has anyone seen it and can you tell me if i should buy it? i just recently realized i've been living with "livable" tinnitus for years, but its gotten worse lately, and i really want to hear from other people that have tinnitus... how can i deal with it? what's worked for you?

  • dominoaj3,

It all started when one of our producers got tinnitus 15 years ago. The search for answers, solutions, cures, and help ensued, and he began meeting people on support groups who shared what he was going through. We wanted to put a handful of people's stories together to share with the wider tinnitus community what works for them, how they feel, what comes next, in their own lives...

  • ...First and foremost, the film is an educational tool, and does not "push" one cure or solution over the next. It is the story of tinnitus as is, told by seven individuals.

I would recommend you watch our film if you want to better explain what you are going through to someone who doesn't totally "get it." Or, if someone might be risking getting tinnitus and you'd like to educate them. Or, to see for yourself that you are not alone and that support is out there.

  • I could be in this movie. Ive had tannitus all my life, before it was even called tannitus!

  • abaneyone,

Unfortunately, many of us could be in this film... The people here are just a handful of tinnitus patients, dealing with tinnitus everyday while continuing to pursue the things they love in life such as music, art, religion, etc... Hopefully, together we can help educate and expose the world of tinnitus, which is what we aim at achieving by creating this film.

  • @staraction I also got a very low intensity beep and I've noticed that it increases by taking salty food, so I would advise you to stop taking salt.

  • You know, i feel as if i am in this mazed that the more i run or hide, i can't escape Tinnitus, no matter what i do or go still there hunting me, vividly in my head and sometimes i don't know what to do..because i get a really bad headache from it and if i take pain killers, the sound get worse...as if i was in a pool and there's speakers up above downwards and playing a BEEEEEP sound and the water is magnified it twice as much! i do hate it! i wish there was silence just pure silence but nope

  • sadly, i havent though but i don't know anyone who also has it. Only online buddies that i chat with once awhile when they are online or videos such as this that it is supportive and all but not like a groupd and meet and talk about it as it was AA, nope....I wish that though...sometimes at night i take Benadryl so, it get me very tired and sleepy and somtimes it works...sometimes i am up maybe i sleep an hour or two if i am lucky

  • have you seen it's all gone pete? it is on youtube

  • covisionsproductions, i viewed your film and wanted to congratulate you on a job very well done. its amazing to me, as a tinnitus sufferer, that you put the time and effort into creating this wonderful piece. i think its not only important for the tinnitus community, but the outer community and those who don't know. i watched it with my husband and i will show it to more of my friends for sure. good luck to you all, and thank you!
