  • Answer to ljdcrazy13 below - yes it does switch from 3/4 to 4/4. Good catch! I have Howard Brubeck's transcription, and once the improvising begins, the pattern becomes two measures 3/4, two measures 4/4, on and on.

    The song's title of course refers to this. The full name of the piece is "Three to Get Ready (and Four to Go)"
