This is my second song using FL Studio and is a song made to make the listener chill out and relax. Its piano and strings and a simple layout with classical influences. Please rate and comment.

  • Nice track I liked it. I want to put up my music out here on youtube, but I'm scared that all my hard work will be stolen from me,because I don't have'em copyrighted.Do you have any suggestions?

  • @JBMuSiK100 As soon as you make a piece of music it is copyrighted to you. I believe this prevents people from stealing music. Thats how I think it is anyway.

  • Great stuff bro, really love it. Think you might make one with mellow drums?

  • I was looking to remake most of my songs and put changes to them, but unfortunately the file has been lost, while moving from PC to laptop.

  • yoo it's real good man 5/5, strings work well with it

but how do you use piano? I can't find it

Or is that another pack? if so which one?

  • Thanks man. I used FL keys on this song. To access it go to your menu on the left side, plugin presets, generators, FL keys and then select the piano sound you want by opening it in a new channel.

  • @JBMuSiK100 What he says is true. As long as you can prove within reasonable doubt that you infact have made it first. However, copyrights are broken all the time so it's best to get a legal contract if you are serious. This will almost completely solidify your case in a court of law.

  • Hey nice tune! Check out this song "Let Light - Lemon Lemon"

  • @Logiefromarmagh You're correct, a person can only copy a sequence of 7 notes - any higher and it becomes a copyright infringement.

  • not mastered

  • Good Chill, Search: Larkey - Fission

  • this doesn't sound much like chillout, more like a buildup... and you used preset samples... the delay didn't do so well, the pad was messy, the effects were the same... 2/5

  • I was expecting a bass/drumline :( but it was very very nice !

  • to much delay

  • @Logiefromarmagh Look into creative commons licensing... And as long as you can prove it is originally yours, you are all good.

And who ever made this tune, Don't use fucking presets. Please.

Learn to mix and master, learn to automate, and please, PLEASE be a musician instead of a dolt.

  • @JBMuSiK100 As far as I know you need to clearly state in your video that your music is copyright and belongs to you (your real name& date). Also you can email an mp3 of your work to yourself to establish a date on which you created your work. Another trick is to burn your music to CD and mail it to your self with a note stating copyright, keep it sealed. You could always upload a 1min sample of your music or get lots of subscribers like ronaldjenkees then release stuff on itunes, go for it !!
