@deanmullen10 When you smell and taste an area of the brain called the amygdala is also activated. This part of the brain is responsible for emotions. this is why smells and tastes can bring upon good or bad memories or emotions.
When you taste food that you like, how is that the food actually brings you happiness? is it that the food sets of a chain of reactions so that chemicals of positive emotions are released in sync with tasting the food or does the food bring happiness directly? and if so how?
Great, except it's been clarified that all taste buds can taste all the flavors. It's not divided like that, "The ones in the back taste bitter and sour"...no.
@charukrsnadasa, there's no such thing as those 2 sensory taste designations, stop making up up crap.
