@timandrew614 I'm white American, Scot, Irish? Your point? View these fine 3 men as best ever. Again your point as to half Czech? And yes I remain aware of the sabre rattling around the world?

I remember when I was 16 and hearing this song ... especially the drumbeat at the beginning ... and how much I loved this song.... years later I read Neil Peart's book The Masked Rider... in the book Neil was lying on the roof of a hut in Togo in South Africa... and in the distance he heard a great drum beat... and he used that beat for the beginning of this song... No more wasted years... ! And I'm proud to say Neil partly inspired me to name my company Heresy Email Services

This is one of my favorite Rush songs of all time. Liberty beats tyranny any day, even after "all those wasted years".
For those who are just learning to enjoy Rush and their insightful, beautiful music, let me tell you that you'll nigh never be disappointed by anything they do or have done. They have their highs and lows, much as any band, but they are an awesome group of exceptional musicians, and well loved by their fans of all ages.
