About 2 hours after launch, the Shuttle contrails can be seen from the cockpit of a Diamond DA42 Twin Star. (about to land at KEVB)

  • Aaron, you have nothing to worry about. Castering nosewheels are not too tricky at all. Good luck in your training!

  • That's the time of night where flying is amazing. I want to solo multiengine in a DA42 but a beech duchess is inevitable

  • thats cool !!! Stay out of way of that big bird

  • who cares about the contrail? the G1000 at night is more interesting. Wish you had held the camera more steady... and spent more time at the displays.

  • SWEET

  • I can't really tell, but is that faint scenic music playing over the noise of the engine, or is it just my imagination?

    Nice sight!

  • that was pretty cool :) i've only seen photos of the contrails. oh and i'm starting flight school in the fall, the DA20 is the first aircraft i'll ever fly. kinda apprehensive about the castering nosewheel though! i can't help but wonder if taxiing will be like riding a shopping cart

  • nice movie. love that plane!!
