  • i just want to see it fly please

  • Would it fare better to have a couple stabilizing fans on the left and right sides so it doesn't just flip over or spin in magically deadly ways?

  • @promontorium The AR Drone has 4 fans, one on each corner, but it is an RC hovercraft toy. If made into a real vehicle, that would address the issue.

  • WOW the future! Wait.. it has a gas engine?

  • @RMaximP

I want to help contribute my knowledge on Aerodynamics and design. Can I help contribute my talent and knowledge for free to make the final product perfect?

  • You wouldn't be mad if I tried to design and build one myself would you? :) haha I'm being serious though.. I already drew out a basic concept on paper

  • @promontorium

It will not tip over. Haven't you studied aerodynamics?

  • Looks like it would become very unstable due to it being extremely top heavy. The rotors would have to be elevated past the rider to be stable just like a helicopter. With the rotos underneath the rider there is nothing to stop the machine from flipping over since you don't have stabilizer rotos. I hope to see it fly soon. This would be revolutionary the to way we travel

  • Why do you ask for donations toward a goal of $1.1M publicly when I'm almost certain you won't reach it considering you only have 73k now? Have you not gone to potential investors and made them feel comfortable lending money toward your business? If not, why not? Something wrong with your business model or the prototype working? If you do have investors, I hope you give those donations back to those people who thought they had a chance of getting a prototype when clearly they don't anymore.

  • high torque meat grinder if you wreck it.

  • Everyone these days is so fast to discredit when obviously an unfathomable amount of testing must be done before any showing can take place. Don't listen to the nay-sayers and follow your dreams man! Looking great so far.
