What kind of strings are you using?

Im using pirastro spirocore solo. Now Im feeling that they are too bright but I have these strings since 3 years ago, its time to change and maybe try something else. What would you recommend me???

My prof would yell at you if he knew you have had the same strings for three years. I recently got the evah piarzzi which are also piastro. They have a nice big sound but only sound good at a high action (this could be just my bass). It's the weirdest thing... my hand strength is just not up to par to handle the prelude with the strings high...

Im very curious about the pirazzi and may try those. I also want to try the belcanto solo.

It's pretty good. You have all the notes, but I think you could connect your phrases much more and create more musicality. It's too disconnected to be completely enjoyable but good job. I know how hard this piece is!
