  • why spend money for a great guitar and amp with a great vintage tone and then connect in to a terrible gt8 ? try your guitar with a tubescreamer and then plug into the amp.......another life.

Because music is emotional, a very personal thing that's about creativity, art, and fun! The tone and/or sounds a player wants to pull down or is interested in experimenting with are entirely his choice...it isn't about YOU. Don't worry about what everyone else is doing. If you don't like it, move on. Better yet: GO PLAY. Stop passing judgement on others like a little bitch.

  • The guitar itself sounds great. the gt8 destroys the vibe a little. try maybe a fulltone ocd... this is a great distorton / overdrive pedal.

  • I have been offered a strat like this one (79 no hardtail) but I have to sell my 93 Eric Clapton strat, what do you think? Should I? thanks!!

  • nice sound. quite warm.
