The video is my work and I am grateful for all the comments that people have left over the past 10 months. The more people that are touched by the spirit of this video the better. Sharing work is good medicine providing you honour the creator (in both senses).
Here are the lyrics. credited Trudell/Sahme (aka Quiltman) Crazy Horse We Hear what you say One earth one mother One does not sell the earth The people walk upon We are the land How do we sell our mother How do we sell the stars How do we sell the air Crazy Horse We hear what you say
Too many people Standing their ground Standing the wrong ground Predators face he possessed a race Possession a war that doesn't end Children of god feed on children of earth Days people don't care for people These days are the hardest Material fields material harvest decoration on chains that binds Mirrors gold the people lose their minds Crazy Horse We Hear what you say One earth one mother One does not sell the earth The people walk upon We are the land Today is now and then Dream smokes touch the clouds On a day when death didn't die Real world time tricks shadows lie Red white perception deception Predator tries civilising us But the tribes will not go without return Genetic light from the other side A song from the heart our hearts to give The wild days the glory days live
Crazy Horse We Hear what you say One earth one mother One does not sell the earth The people walk upon We are the land How do we sell our mother How do we sell the stars How do we sell the air

Remember today and say a prayer for all those that died in the snows at Wounded Knee. But also for all of those who continue to die because they see life differently from those who would take more than they need, profit from the poor and powerless.
"We have seen their fine words on paper, and we have also seen their lies in their deeds".
@bigdatut First Nations is just another way of saying the first people on this continent before the whites. First Nations Lakota, First Nations Crow, First Nations Seminole, you get the idea. ;)
Actually, First Nations typically refers to Canadians. Of course it could be used to refer to North, South and Central Americans as well, but it's not something currently being used. You don't see it in the literature anymore. As a person of Indian ancestry myself, I prefer "Native." The reason I asked about it was that I never heard any of my people use that term to refer to themselves. Again, I don't say this to be rude, I am just curious. Thanks for your opinion.
Remember who you are, Rise up my beloved and call yourselves healed, Rise up and accept all that I have, that no man of any race, creed, nation or government can steal from you, Rise up and rememberm, cherish your children, raise them in my way, never forsake the truth, love, peace, forgiveness will heal. You are what you feel strong in your heart. Sing your songs and celebrate your life, yes for a new world a new time runs swiftly down the mountain so shall your time come again, Wait for it.
I am so ashamed of what my white ancestors did to the Natives on this continent. I would appologise all day but you all would probably think I was lying. If I could change the past I would. Please listen to my words, and know that we are all not bad people.Don't hate us for the ignorance done to you in the past.
