Even the best Mobil 1 is comprised of base3 mineral based stocks. The same as all the leading oil manufacturers. Its great oil but there is better. AMSOIL offers the same as Mobil with their normal line of oils. But they have 100% synthetic that is non mineral based. AMSOIL outperforms everything.
I dont see a reason why should I change my perfect Motul oil for Mobil, if someone shows me a 100 000 km use of MOBIL and other famous oil and it will be different, than maybe, some Mobil workers talks dont approve the greatness of Mobil
@robb15033 Pour in oil additives of any kind upset the delicate chemical balance of a motor oil and also void the warranty of the motor oil. A properly formulated motor oil doesn't need a pour in oil additives.
@HiTechOilCo All those modifications plus others here and there. My single port 3.8 is making more horsepower and torque than any other I have ever found anywhere, including Justin with VMP's best attempt. I use all synthetics in transmission, differential, power steering, engine oil. My little secret I use on my vehicles and at work an a Mechanical Engineer is a carbon based additive called "Militec1" I've been using it in reciprocating motors of any type ie: air compressors, hermetic, scroll-
@HiTechOilCo It's still naturally aspirated- 1997 single port 3.8 V6 Mustang. I have it SCT-XCal dyno tuned to an 87 octane tune file and a 93 octane tune file, with stock download as an option. Cold Air Intake to a throttle body spacer, 56mm throttle body to a 1" lower intake manifold spacer to lengthen the runners. Upgraded ignition coil with Granatelli MPG wires, copper core plugs. Underdrive pulleys, divorced dual exhaust with Flowmaster 10 Series mufflers. 3.73 Ford Racing gears, SPEC ++++
