  • @morganroate I liked the 2nd Guyver more thn the 1st, as for G-savior, it's been so long since i saw it I don't remember much. I get the feeling if they do make a Eva live action they're going to make te pilots older than they are in the series. After all what American is going to eleive a 14 year old can pilot an Eva... doesn't matter that's how the original story is and it works.

  • I think they should make a PG-13 & a R version of the movie so the younger audiance can see it & the older adiance can see it in full. And there are some religions like LDS aka mormon that dont watch R rated films because it goes agianst thier teachings so a PG-13 versian will let them see it too. The one they release in theaters will be up to them. they could make th R version for theaters and the PG-13 one as a clean version, for DVD or put the PG-13 on for theaters and make a unrated DVD

  • another problem which has been mentioned time and time again is many directors WANT to direct it, but they have schedueling problems. It will be tough to get these directs signed on, unless they wait awhile...plus it needs some more work before they can progress. They did raise about half of the money (did Gainax help? where did it all come from?)

  • Yay Battle Angel!

  • If they do make it, they should grow some balls and make it rated R . But no, it will be PG 13 for the kids. No wonder movies suck. But what do I know, I only been watching shit from Japan for over 30 years.

  • Live action Evangelion is never going to happen!!!! Why is it on the Weta website LAEM is in the past projects section with "(under development)" next to it. By the looks of things, there going to finish off the second movie of Chronicles of Narnia before they even think about Evangelion!!!

  • it makes sense ... a lot..

  • The situation with eva is something called "Development hell" which is basically when a project cannot get filming for whatever reason. My understanding of Eva is that they are having trouble with finacing the film because lets face it Eva will be very experimental. Previous attempts at live action anime havent been very wide realeased or have failed (Guyver and G-Saviour).

  • I mean, if he is saying that Evangelion is making a lot of profit, why is so hard to start doing it? Weta is like "come on"

  • Another thanks guys, I really appreciate ye putting this up! Cursed NDAs, would love some hard touchable info...
