JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS skateboarding and snowboarding are similar because they have almost the same ramps ,rails ,and halfpipes.skaters cant do 1080..yet,even shaun white knows that.i mean he tried it...tried :(. but he does them like their nothing.the only difference is one is on snow, has no wheels, and has bindings instead of griptape.while the other is one more solid surfaces, has wheels, and has griptape instead of bindings.their both great and their both difficult in their own way.that's all

@purplewtruck skateboarding and snowboarding really have nothing in common when it comes to skill. They are both completely different sports. They just both involve a sense of balance

NORWEGIAN FTW!
well, do you see skateboarders hucking 1260s, 1440s and double rodeos off massive tabletops? how about in the halfpipe? no? well then I suppose skateboarding it is more "difficult".
pros in ANY sport are pushing the limits of it. every professional is committing to the same level of human skill in whatever sport/art they're in. what you can DO with that skill level, determines the difficulty.

a pro with a set level of skill, could do a 1260 on a tabletop, but only be able to do a 360 with one binding out. therefore, although the 360 is less rotations, it is considered "more difficult" because applying the same amount of skill, you can only do so much.
the AMOUNT or VARIETY of tricks rarely comes into the equation. that is, because a sport/art has a million variations of tricks, does not make it "more difficult" - it simply makes it more diverse.
