  • I remember hearing this song as a six-year-old in early 1968 and longing for spring. I was just learning how to read at the time as well. I haven't heard this tune much since 1968--it has a springtime vibe to it.

  • I love that feeling you get when you hear an old song that evokes a strong childhood memory. It does have a springtime vibe, doesn't it? It speaks to me about the strange mysterious feminine power of nature.

  • SPring spring bunneys with pink BOWS ON THERE HEADS!!!!! watchING THEM GO ROUND AN ROUND ROUND and leaping while i goT my boggie blaster on the hills wathcing theM and listening to bright eyes, and my dad killing one. Greetz Frome The Netherelands

  • First heard this on Rockwiz . Nice .Who is Nancy ?

  • hey guys cool video! funny/serious nice...

  • Trippy and very late 60s ish ...

  • I heard this on Coast to Coast AM too, with Art Bell. What a find, forgot all about this haunting song

  • Newishness, I love this song and great job on the vid....both of you I should say. I remember about 6 years ago I was driving along with a friend on a highway at night and we heard this song as Bumper Music for the "Coast to Coast AM Show", it suited the moment and time. Lee Hazlewood's voice in this song is so haunting which makes it more and more a classic of it's time and with Nancy doing her part it also makes it that much better. Cheers and take care.

  • Thanx for the post..haven't heard this song in years. I remember it when it was a "1st run" in the late 60s. I guess the vibe this song gives me it totally different than yours..meloncholy and almost creepy really. But this is one of those few songs that will evoke some emotion whatever it might be in whoever listens to it. That's what makes it a classic..

  • Thanks for the comment--I'm going to check out some more song memories from long ago.
