2004 FORD MUSTANG GT OFF ROAD X-PIPE EXHAUST

2004 Ford Mustang GT Sonic Blue with an off road x-pipe from latemodelrestoration.com, and an intake spacer from your local Oreily's auto parts store. Together they were around $360. They made the Mustang about 4 mph faster top end, from 138mph to 142mph with an automatic transmission and then the government limiter kicks in. Through the stock mufflers, and through the oxygen sensor holes. K&N intake filter.
Still don't have a 1/4 mile track time.

@FURYMUSTANG for the OFF ROAD pipes is it ok for local and freeways?? why does it says OFF ROAD ONLY ?? like i want to use a summit offroad hpipe for my 08 gt but says OFF ROAD ONLY ?? is it ok on street use ?

@hohohee1 It says for off-road use only because there isn't any catalitic converters on the mid pipe. They sell it to you assuming that you will only use that whenever you will be going to the race track. But many people still put them on for street use depending on how strict local law enforcment is. But you by that at your own risk.

yeh change out the stock muffles and with the xpipe it'll sound alot better

yeah next time go with the 5 speed. my 02 gt ran a 13.7 1/4 @96 in 3rd with my only mod being flowmasters. you really need a tuner to get your shift points right on an auto.

@hohohee1 Cats are not needed but if your state has an emission test it is illegal and you will get fined when your car gets inspected for new tags ect. yeah all newer cars come with them
