Well...I think my faith in "new" music may be somewhat restored...not completely, but "somewhat"....I dig this band, they aren't trying to create a "new" sound, just using what's familiar & branding themselves with it. I hear a little bit of Jayhawks,Neil Young, Petty, maybe some Counting Crowes etc..but it's good & tastefully done. I wish them much success.

Finally, music with lyrics that have some depth! Thank you Dawes, and thanks for taking the time to play for Occupy in DC and NYC. You did the right thing, I hope the music industry will be kind to you, and you become a classic band that will still be known in future decades.
