Iran Today-Komalah Terrorist Organization-11-12-2010-(Part2)

On the 4th of November, Iran's Intelligence Ministry made an announcement, "four terrorists have been arrested in Iran's Western city of Marivan." These men are members of the notorious Komalah terrorist group and have carried out five assassinations in the past two years. In their confessions they said they received their orders in the Iraqi city of Soleimanieh from a man called Jalil Fattahi, a Komalah commander who is now living as an asylum seeker in the UK. The cash and weapons they needed for their operations were then delivered to the Iran-Iraq border. But these men who have been involved in Komalah operations for years were not fighting for any particular cause. They were instruments hired by bigger fish to carry out terror attacks inside Iran on a promise of 20,000 USD for every successful operation.

The group has offices in various European countries and the US. Komalah introduces itself as an organization fighting for reform in Iran. Komalah members are arrested at regular intervals with obvious links to the group but Komalah leaders consistently deny any affiliation with these agents.

Press TV's Iran Today traveled to the city of Marivan, an Iranian city bordering Iraq to meet the Komalah detainees and the families of their victims.
