Absolutely spot on. Its a particular problem around many of the costas where there are loads of English with exactly that attitude, i.e. they've left England to escape all the 'bloody foreigners' and are then proud to say that the only Spainish they know is si, por favor and dos cervazas. Further, I know some who are complaining about the Spanish not having sufficient English speaking staff in hospitals and police stations. My opinion, if you move to another country you adapt to it!

Well said, but it didn't grab me as controversial. I'm also bothered by ex-pats who constantly complain about the Spaniards - their culture, there lifestyle - as if to say, "if only they where more like us".
