And that is EXACTLY why the Jews were chosen as a scapegoat people for thousands of years. That selfish thought was the reason why a thousand jews could be marched to the death by no more then 5 guards with submachine guns. they held on to the delusion that they would survive if they kept passive

There is an interesting lecture by John V. Denson available here on youtube which opines that Roosevelt's policy of Unconditional Surrender played a part in Germany hanging on to the bitter end. If you are interested in this stuff, I highly recommend it.
