@DiabolusIgnis haha true but it depends on what you're planing to do. if you're planing on close combat true, but usually you want to keep your hands in the back to prevent it from being hit :P
@ShadowUMP Actually it's quite good to have them up front too. There's at least one manuscript featuring a desperate move against a rapier attack. You basically take the rapier through your palm and then divert the attack.
I'd rather have a Swiss-cheese palm than a rapier in my chest.

has a more accurate weight distribution and had more severe punishments :P
