Flybarless 4#6S At The Park 5-26-10.wmv

Here is a video of my Flybarless Walkera 4#6S at the park on 5-26-10. It was a little breezy,and still experimenting with gyro gain settings on the 2433 Rx 3 axis. Overall like the way it flys, nice & fast,very stable & has good response. Rudder gain at around 50%,ail./elev. gain around 40%,and ail./elev. extent around 40%-with dual rate on Tx high for now, trying to eliminate an annoying up/down bobbing motion I've been getting since installation couple days ago- have reduced it,but can't seem to get rid of it completely.

@kelsehoffman Mine makes this sound just about every time when landing in grass,sounds like stripping-but didn't this time. Have replaced front bevel gear a couple times after many flights.It is a weak point for these shaft -drive copters.

i heard some gear stripping at the end. i just did the same thing on my ufly not an hour before i wrote this comment.

. I've had it out flying a few more times this week,and have tried a few different gyro gain settings. When I reduce gain,less twitching. The head dampeners are pretty stiff & might be contributing somewhat.Head & links are all tight,everything balanced, really can't complain-I like this fbl configuration-turns are more precise and response is better overall while still being very stable.
