R/C no the i stands for infrared so you have to point at the toy. Inside this isn't a problem because the light from the 3 leds is reflected on many surfaces but if you use it outside (I know its an inside toy) that could be a problem.

i work at RS and this is the best flyer theyve ever had. easy to fly and consistent. glids awsome too

rofl yooo i just got it today from radio shack it cost like 34$ plus the batteries the remote holds 8 bateries i bought 10 bateries

omg it crashed a lot in my house

cant wait untell spring :P
