Our school went to Valloire in France from the 31st of January to the 7th of February, and it is, by far, the most beautiful place I have ever been to. For anyone that lives in, or close to, Valloire - be proud of where you live.
On the bus from Glasgow airport to our school, we were all silent, looking out the window. After around 5 minutes of silence, someone eventually said "Well this is rubbish." I wish our hometown was like Valloire. Except warmer. One of the days we were out in -20°C. When I look at it from that angle, I think that I'm happy in colourless, boring Glasgow, thank you very much.
I've walked away with some amazing memories of this holiday. Running up and down the corridors screaming "JE SUIS UNE POMME DE TERRE!" (I am a potato), the "cows" (don't ask), skiing (obviously), making fun of the room, eating bread, talking to Lush (we met him in the crepe queue and he turned round to us and said "have you tried the crepes? Aren't - they - luuuush?" (he was extremely sound though, and a brilliant skier too)), getting extremely hyper on the last night on 7 cans of Diet Coke and some Red Bull, our singing battle with the Irish school, spraying messages on the mirrors with deodorant, singing Bananaphone and so much more.
Loved this holiday. Would go back at any opportunity.
