  • oh and also, the part begining at around 1 minute, is that all up strokes like a sweep or alternating picks? i assume it can be played either way i'm just curious...

  • hey deathmetalguy glad you liked it, that part is just alternate picking...getting the sound on your amp is a whole other story...totally depends on the amp...just remember tremolo and spring reverb, that's the magical combination ; )

  • what equip u using? including ur amp

  • I was using software called guitar rig 2 and the computer was plugged into the stereo. The settings were the Fender Twin Reverb model, spring reverb, and digital delay.

  • thanks for the advice, actually i'm using this software called guitar rig. it has a bunch of different amp and effects models. i used the surf rock preset then tweaked with it a bit to get the sound similar enough to the actual song
