In a man with previous right CEA + PTA-stenting and left ICA stenosis An unusual bilateral vertebral artery stenosis.
The thin lumen is central. No spiral or irregular course, like in vertebral artery dissection.
Moreover this finding is bilateral and symmetric.

  • In this film the walls of vertebrali arteries are large and the inner lumen is thin. Then I don't think it is hypoplasia. IN hypoplasia the distance between the walls is occuped by flux. In this case there is a very thick wall and a thin lumen.
