@chiwochiwon I love Mariah don't get me wrong, but Celine, Whitney,Leona,Alicia and definitely Christina can pull off a vocal like this because they all have good falsettoes and can do melisma(some use them more than others but they're all capable).The songs I know by Adele and Beyonce have little or no falsetto & melisma(they're still good singers) I haven't listened to enough of Charice's music to comment on her.

So sad, so many tears... this is absolutely beautiful... the minor chords draw you in initially, then Mariah adds to that what you couldn't possibly put into words. First she starts off with her smooth, falsetto, and takes over at the "climax" of the song in chest... and then it diminishes with falsetto. Very cleverly put together, and after you've gotten past the overall sound of the instruments and her voice, then you realize how deep the lyrics are that she wrote. Phenomenal, as always.
