Factoid #2: David McLean was hired in the early 1960's to portray the "Marlboro Man" in television and print advertising for Philip Morris, Inc. By contract, he was obligated to smoke Marlboro cigarettes. Lilo McLean, widow of David McLean, and their son, Mark Huth, filed suit August 30, 1996 in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas, in the matter of McLean vs. Philip Morris, Inc. (Case No. 2-96CV167) claiming wrongful death after McLean was stricken with lung cancer.
This really made me smile =) Great cover and video!

Thanks, Sebi. I gotta laugh myself every time I hear that cheesy Garage Band "West Coast Wah Wah" effect I used on uke #2!

Smoked it!
(You already pointed out what I surmised: Most of those Marlboro ad guys are dead, quite a few from the product they pitched, I imagine.)
Well done.

Ha! Thanks! BTW, factoid #3... the article I read said that of all the Marlboro Men, "only" three died of lung cancer. It also said the original guy was a 5 pack a day smoker. 5 packs a day??? That's 100 cigs! Times, say 6 minutes a smoke, that's 10 hours of non-stop Marlboro Country!!! Yeeee-hah!
