She is the best dog trainer ever! I use her methods and my dog is so well behaved! Everyone is so impressed with him! We can leave the door wide open and walk across the street to the mail box and he will not come outside until we call him! He knows TONS of tricks. He will stop barking when I say "quiet" He walks perfectly on the leash!

to fpbanana If you're referring to the episode with Jed, the American Bulldog, I'm afraid you're sorely mistaken. Stilwell makes it a point not to reward a dog's aggressive behaviour with treats, headpats, etc., as it reinforces the feeling of fear in the dog. The reward she gave came when Jed was focused on her rather then acting aggressively. The treat offered a distraction from what made the dog fearful and built up an association of good things with strangers, his prime fear.

5 Stars. I like Victoria Stilwell- she has a good heart for helping animals. You should re-spell her last name as Stilwell with just one L as in 'Stil'well so that it's easier to find this video! : )
