  • There should be a total import ban on all products produced with such a DISGRACEFUL disregard for workers' health and safety. This is why well run foundries are going bust throughout Europe and North America. We have got to have regulation here. The free market is killing too many people and toasting too many jobs. Shut it down.

  • The product they are casting are legs for an industrial sewing machine for Indian Factories. Those workers have all been there for their working lives and loving it. Even if they were forced to wear safety equipment they would laugh at the management in the face and discard them. There were about 30 guys on staff and each with their own specific job. They did it expertly and with a great happiness that I don't see many "Other Workers" taking to their jobs.

  • Many will develop cataracts due to infra-red radiation from hot metal. This would be prevented by wearing correct goggles or visors. The managers should sack anybody who refused to wear one. Blindness due to industrial injury is nothing to laugh about or to be proud about. What you are looking at here is what Occupational Health consultants call 'slow accidents'. The risk is well known and well reported. The managers will know of it. Blind without a welfare state to depend on? No thanks.

  • Thanks for your comments.

  • Yeah but did you check out their safety gear?

  • @Rangsantable I thought it sounded Southeast Asian, but all trippy and dubby. Like kahen music on mescaline, with all those "kan...kan...KAN!!" dudes swarming up out of nowhere.

  • why sung thai song :P

  • Where is this music from?

  • working MOLTEN IRON in sandeles?i am not an expert but ...NOT A GOOD IDEA

  • 1000 tonnes per month :)

  • We have a spare capacity of upto 1000 tonnes of good quality casting. Please contact us for your needs at geminyldh at hotmail dot com

  • We have one of the biggest mechanised foundries in North India with 2 koyo horizontal flaskless molding lines presently and more in pipeline. Couple of years back we were producing castings by hand molding and floor molding as well. The safety standards are improving too. But it is the smaller foundries which are lacking.

  • Do it my way or else. Was there ever a tyrant who didn't hold this view?

  • It's like lava
