A Cake for Cherry

A Cake for Cherry is my senior thesis at Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2011) and my very first film.

I've never spent so much time on a project before. Took me 8 months from start to finish. Loads of blood and sweat went into this project. It was a huge learning experience and I literally went crazy (and paranoid)! XD There are a lot of things that I want to modify, change and improve in the film (like timing, pacing, shots, animation... etc.), but I did my best.

Even if I'm not truly satisfied with the outcome (there are a lot of things that I hate/love about it)... I have to move on!

Special Thanks to my family and friends for supporting me and helping me make this film possible! Without you guys, I don't think I would've survived.

Oh man... I only -just now- got to see this, and... well... it's awesome. I've been following you and your art for a long time, and seeing that you've come so far really makes me smile :) That being said, this is adorable. The animation is great, the characterization is awesome, and if you ever made a TV show or a movie or something with Bendi in it, I would totally watch it.

I just simply love the animation!

But you do know that with this kind of grad film, not a lot of animation studios will take you in. They don't appreciate anime. Of course, unless you are thinking of going to Marathon Production studio or going to studios in Asia, I advise you not to create any more anime looking animations. North American studios just will not accept you.

I'm not here to critisize you or anything. I am just worried about your future. You might be unemployed for a long time.
