Set you and your horse a challenge this year, and prepare to ride an Elementary dressage test. You can do it, says dressage judge Judy Harvey -- and here's how...

Judy Harvey FBH is an FEI international dressage judge and a senior international selector for the British dressage team. She competes at Grand Prix level on her horse, Fitzcerraldo.

Listen as Judy explains the finer points of riding an excellent Elementary dressage test, and watch the riders execute the movements, and prepare to head down the centre line yourself!

  • Great job explaining everything! I'm preparing for an exam here in Portugal called Sela 4 but the horse I ride for dressage is very hard to collect and when he is collected he pulls up tight. Do you have any tips to make collection easier and avoid the horse becoming tense when he is collected?

    Thanks
