On the 16th September 1995 Burnley played Hull City at Turf Moor.
This was the last ever game played in front of the Longside.
On Sunday 17th September 1995 Burnley Football Club allowed people on to the Longside for one last time before the terrace made way for an all seater stand.
This is Part One and a general look at the events on Sunday 17th September 1995.

The fans in the Longside generated a truely awesome atmospere. It used to be so much fun standing up against the segregation railings and singing our hearts out for the lads.
The young Claret`s fans of today will never be able to understand just what the Longside meant for the older Claret`s...Bring back the Longside!!
