@crixandbutter And Desperadoes tied for 2nd. And yes arguably one of the greatest Pan Tunes ever composed. It was like a test piece.

I stand corrected. I was thinking of "Guitar Pan". I bow to your knowledge... ;-)

When the essence of joy meets such virtuosic brilliance, discipline, imagination, insane rhythmic ability and jaw-dropping arranging, this is the result. A piece of ensemble playing to rival anything I've ever heard - just brilliant!

The best steelband in the world and one of the only few COMMUNITY bands in Trinidad & Tobago that is helping presevre the culture

@Interested....Phase II won that year with "This feeling nice" Renegades came 2nd..
All stars came 4th with Curry Tabanca. That year I think 7 of the final 11 bands played Pan in A Minor. Arguably one of the greatest Pan tunes composed.

@psychologistpannist Who won Panorama that year and is the performance on Youtube? Because Curry Tabanca is a masterpiece.

@UKHardDrive Sorry, friend, you're off by a decade.
"Pan in A Minor" was a hit by Lord Kitchener in 1987.and was almost the "test piece" for Panorama that year.
