Never seen this game before. I did recognize the name. Sort of game you'd have paid £7.95 after saving your pocket money and try to kid yourself it's good knowing it's pants.

Having grown up in the speccy era I was frustrated at the sheer number of repetative and boring games that were around, all those point and shoot games were bollocks, the only good point and shoot was missile command, which wasn't even a spectrum game.
There was very few speccy games I actually played, chase hq, outrun, gauntlet, great escape. I'm not dissing the spectrum, i loved my speccy, but some of the games that got ratings didn't deserve them.

I also loved my Spectrum but I too found most games to be disappointing and overrated. It was job of the magazines to promote the games to keep interest in the machine though. It was really only towards the end of the Speccy's life that some reviewers took it upon themselves to utterly anniliate some previously high rated games and give them awful (and more truthful) scores. There are a lot of enjoyable Speccy games, but only a few proper classics that have stood the test of time in my opinion.

Apparently I've since discovered it's considered by many to be a mini-cult classic. Obviously some people enjoy frustrating games where you do nothing but fall off your horse all day long.
